STEPS Nursery & Primary School is a bilingual institution located in PK10, Douala, Cameroon. Founded in 2006 by Mme Nguenkoum Marcelline, an experienced educator, STEPS provides quality education in both French and English, following the Cameroonian curriculum. With a nurturing environment and dedicated teachers, we offer a complete nursery cycle (Pre-Nursery to Nursery 2) and a dynamic primary program that prepares children for academic success and personal growth. At STEPS, we build a strong foundation for the future!

Nursery Section (Pre-Nursery to Nursery 2) – A strong foundation through play-based learning, sensory activities, and language introduction.
Primary Section (Class 1 to Class 6) – A rigorous curriculum that strengthens reading, writing, mathematics, and science skills, with a bilingual approach.

Section Maternelle (Petite section à la grande section) – Une base solide grâce à l’apprentissage par le jeu, les activités sensorielles et l’initiation aux langues.
Section Primaire (SIL au CM2) – Un programme rigoureux qui renforce les compétences en lecture, écriture, mathématiques et sciences, avec une approche bilingue.

A Day in Our Life

At STEPS Nursery & Primary School, we believe in a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom. Throughout the year, we organize exciting events and celebrations that enrich our students’ learning experiences. From the Christmas Tree Celebration (Arbre de Noël), which brings joy and festive cheer, to the End-of-Year Party, marking academic achievements, every event is an opportunity for growth. We proudly celebrate Youth Day, fostering patriotism and leadership, as well as Bilingualism Day and Mother Language Day, which highlight the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity. These activities help develop confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of community among our students.
